Intro to DK Will Have You Coming Back For More!

While stumbling across this cute little hole in the wall restaurant in Redondo Beach, CA I found that Dominique's Kitchen is more than a restaurant. It takes a lot to impress people of modern society, especially because every other day there is a new restaurant claiming to be unique, but DK (Dominique's Kitchen, but I'm going to call it DK) is something truly special. I went there for my first time in July 2013 for my mom's birthday and at first I was not necessarily excited about it. But after a few seconds of friendly and smiling greetings, I was starting to be sold. Fast forward about 2 minutes. That's when I got my hands on some of the best bread you can ever taste along with the most awesome, smooth, creamy and delectable butter you will ever taste. I was starting to fall in love - food love that is. Dominique's Kitchen - located at 522 S. Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 Tel: 424-247-9054, is probably the best French European cuisine I've ever had. They serve everything from escargot to Scottish salmon to gluten free ravioli and classic french fries! They have a wine bar, a very authentically European wine list and some of the best deserts you'll ever taste, like dark chocolate mousse, Floating Island, Baked Alaska and Macaroons in addition to their favorites like Passsion Fruit Creme Brulee. I love the DK menu! At first glance you might think the prices are high - but HELLO it IS a fancy French restaurant. Oh but let me clarify... DK is a fancy French European restaurant WITHOUT the attitudes that typically come with fancy restaurants. This is my intro to DK but stay tuned to find out more about all their specialty items, their unique qualities, like how every single person had a real, never phony smile - I mean, you can totally tell they love working there, in addition to their services for parties in house, catering out of house and oh yes, their location 3 minutes from the beach! Yeah, you're going to want to stay tuned!
